Abstract
This book consists of two parts. The first part contains detailed description of Pythagorean and natural tuning and equal temperament.
The second part deals with determining of geographical latitude, period of eclipse of the sun using continued fractions, and with mathematical principles of satellite navigation, namely GPS.
