Expressive and Hidden Parables about the Human Soul by Animals and about the Beast in the Human Body

Abstract

The study is devoted to the Dimiter Kenarov's poetry like preface to the Czech translation of his second collection, Apokrifni zhivotni [Apocryphal Animals], published in 2010 (Czech 2012). Kenarov was born in 1981 in Sofia.

His first collection of poems, Patuvane kam kuhniata [A Journey to the Kitchen], was published in 2001 and won the Juzhna prolet - Literaturen vestnik award for best poetry debut.
