Warm wit of Alberto Cantoni as a germ of the sentiment of antithesis

Abstract

The study is focused on the direct impact of the work of Alberto Cantoni on the formation of Pirandello's poetics of humour and on the way in which Pirandello read Cantoni's proses and "translated" them into his own creative concepts.
