This article focuses on one of the main problems in creating materials for a specific language level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Focus is put on both the theoretical and the practical aspect.
Among others we publish a part of the algorithm in the creation and writing of teaching materials for the language level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Another main issues of this paper is to describe the position of the special interdialect "obecná čeština" (the general public speech) in textbooks.
This question is viewed from different perspectives, including the linguodidactic viewpoint.
