Abstract
In the chapter the author deals with the following topics: the subject of psychology, a brief outline of the history of psychology, major psychological orientations 20th century, the division of psychology, methods of psychology, mental functions: perception, memory, learning, thinking and intelligence, feeling, motivation, a man among men.
