Abstract

The publication looks into what occupations and sectors graduates tend and what factors influence their success in the labor market. The text is divided into two parts.

The first part primarily focuses on to what major occupational clusters graduates go. It includes the explanation of methodology of creating these occupational clusters and comparison of the distribution of each higher education institution graduates in these occupational clusters.

The comparison is performed at the level of faculties and fields of study also and emphasis is placed onto characteristics such as qualification requirements of jobs, salaries, use of acquired education and level of professional skills. The second part focuses on the relationship between the characteristics of the study, acquired competencies and professional success, while placing emphasis on the comparison between different types of faculties.
