Abstract
This chapter contains brief description of the Method of Archimedes, its discovery and rediscovery. It also contains brief summary of the treatise and sample example which demonstrates mathematical idea of the Archimedes' method used for finding of areas, volumes and centres of gravity of various geometrical figures.
