Abstrakt
The study represents a habilitation lecture delivered at the Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague, in which the author reflected on the Decalogue structure based on the Hebrew text of the Fifth Book of Moses using the synchronous method. The structure is based on the key position of the first commandment, which describes the Lord's actions, in respect of which the formulations of the remaining commandments represent declarations of consequences of the Lord's works in the confessor's life.
The Decalogue is a theologic rather than ethical piece of text.
