The study attempts to summarize and sort an independent double story in Deut 2:24b-3:11 from various viewpoints, also by reflecting on formal signals (signs) made by the narrator. Furthermore, the author tries to reveal the extraordinary nature of the story and its instructive nature, which represents collective experience with the Lord's actions of the second generation of the Israelis led out of Egypt, analogous to the first generation's experience with their deliverance from Egypt by the Lord.
