Abstract
During the existence of Czechoslovak federation its subjects had at the beginning only limited right to accept own constitutional laws. The situtation changed after 1989 when Slovak and the Czech Republic started with the preparation of their own basic laws.
The article presents overview of the different reactions of the politicians how they were presented in the czech press during 1992.
