and activity of the foot in daily movements. The purpose of this study was to illustrate the individual strategies of the foot dynamics and the shape characteristics of the foot.
It should determine how the amount of active mobility of the foot corresponds with the foot dynamics under extreme loading. The dynamics of medial arch and foot width in "active" and "passive" foot were analysed during one-footed vertical jump.
Different foot dynamics in "active" and "passive" foot and also individual strategies of the take-off were found - some subjects used toe and some used metatarsals to land. The force impulse when using the toe to land was higher than when landing from metatarsals.
These results can lead to improvment of understanding the foot dynamics or the sport performance.
