Abstract
Germaine Aziz is only 17 when they sell her and put into a house of ill fame. She is trapped and has only one aim - to find again the freedom which she has been robbed of.
Either in closed Algerian houses or on a Parisian pavement, everywhere she finds only loneliness, oppression and disdain. All the time she fights with the poor state of her position, but she still believes that finally she will be treated as a human being.
