Abstract
Rose enjoys the last moments of happiness next to her husband Bertrand at her husband's parents' homestead. After the men left for war, France is defeated, exodus and then occupation come.
Rose exposes herself to a great danger for long months while protecting her friend and her small son and other persecuted Jews. One day she meets Lluis, a Catalan refugee.
Two young people surrounded by pursuers, betrayers and informers fall in love with each other...
