Abstract
The story of Noor who is raped by a foreigner one day takes place in a small village on the edge of a desert. She is pregnant and is going to be stoned for adultery.
The whole village is completely indifferent to her destiny. Only a French woman, a humanitarian worker who left Paris to escape her loneliness, grief and ruined love life, tries to help Noor.
The author outlines the portrait of women with a different view of the world, women with a tragic destiny, tossing between the respect to traditions, desire for freedom and right for love and pleasure.
