Pre-literacy development and initial literacy in the curriculum of European countries

Abstract

Czech Republic has always devoted much attention to the development of intensive reading and the development of the initial reading. In the current literacy concept is this area turned into the initial development of literacy is a concept much broader than those already mentioned initial reading.

Together with the development of early literacy skills significantly increased interest in evolutionary period preceding the pre-literacy period.
