The foot is a significant component of locomotive organs that provides the support the stand and locomotion, but also provides the source of necessary afference in the control of locomotion and body balance. It is also a part of functional chains and disorders in the foot fucntion may induce changes at all levels of locomotion apparatus including its controlling component.
It is therefore necessary to examine the foot within the complex kinesiology analysis. The aim of the contribution is to briefly describe selected examination procedures which the authors recommend for application in daily practice of physiotherapist and physician for a rapid and easy diagnostics of the foot function.
