34th seminar on the theoretical essentials of the foreign language didactics : Acquisition of the pronunciation of a foreign language as a linguodidactic problem

Abstract

The seminar was devoted to 3 contemporary issues of teaching the pronunciation in foreign languages. The seminar was divided into two main parts.

In the first part the problem of the integrative approach to pronunciation practice, i. e. the connection of pronunciation exercises with the practice of other language means, was analyzed. In the second part the present research on teaching of pronunciation especially with the focus on English language was assessed.
