Abstract
A review of a new book by František Kuřina in which he showed yet again that he is able to connect knowledge from mathematics, its history and from other parts of our lives as can be seen from a series of fitting quotations. The book is a practical illustration of the thesis which the author advocates - problem solving is not a matter of logic but a matter of intuition and creativity.
