Abstract
The Sedlčany region is in contrast to the typical Central Bohemian landscape characterized by quite high concentration of wet meadows. Most of them have been discovered during several last years.
It is only a fragment of the original extent of this biotope. A suitable management is absent at most of localities, but restoration of farming on selected meadows has been starting in the last time.
