Abstract
Sanskrit nidhiśṛṅga is no equivalent of Latin cornucopia and does not denote "horn of plenty". The paper discusses a passage of the Viṣṇudharmottara-Purāṇa speaking about objects that should and should not be painted in the houses of (normal) men.
