Abstract
The piano has a short history in Albania. Albanian historians know as the real begining of the Art of Piano, the opening of the Tirana conservatory in 1962.
From the begining there was a big interes for this instrument, which conitnues till nowdays. Forom the opening the art of piano has done a remarkable improvement, making it comparable to European schools.
One of the facotrs is the big interes for this instrument. THere were three main factirs, which influenced the albanina piano literature: the Albanian folklore, the communist regime and the beginign of democracy.
From the begingins of democracy there were new ways of composing, freedom int he repertoar choise and also the possibility to use new quality piano methods.
