Abstract
The article analyses the art career of the Czech exile Jiří Hilmar, whose creation - only humbly presented in the club gallery of the Topič Salon - indicates his Op Art inspired creation from 1960s and 1970s and richly illustrates his following career realized already in Germany. His new cycles overcame original geometric accuracy by focusing on natural materials and loose geometry.
