This limited edition art book presents Cyclone (2004-5), a series of black and white photographs by Alena Kotzmannová, which is made up of pairs of photographs where each image of the pair differs from the other in an initially almost imperceptable way - the same image taken from a different angle, or at a different time. The slight discrepancies between the two images gradually fill the viewer with uncertainty, not only about the sequence of events and phenomena, but also about the principle of photography itself.
Cyclone is released in a limited bibliophile edition of 200 copies and is the second book published by Eastern Front.
