Abstract

The study deals with Czech exile after 1948 Czechoslovak coup d'état. It focuses on exile's both political and cultural activities.

The author gives a description of Ivan Blatny, a Czech poet who, after his arrival in the Great Britain in March 1948, opposed bravely and openly against the communist regime and its anti-exile propaganda.
