Determination of longitudinal and transversal stiffness of conveyor belts using accelerometer

Abstract

Methodology is based on the measurement of the longitudinal and transversal stiffness of the conveyor belts, by means of microchip accelerometer. Due to the using of modern technology the methodology is fully compatible with Czech standard ČSN 26 0370 and it also enables the assessment of complex Young modulus.
