Geometry of Müntz spaces

Abstract

This article is divided into three sections. In the first one we present the definition of Müntz spaces as well as some key Müntz-type theorems.

The second section contains three original results. In the first we prove that no Müntz space is reflexive.

In the second we prove that a special type of Müntz spaces does not have the Radon-Nikodym property. The third result characterizes the Choquet boundary of Müntz spaces.

In the last section we mention some of the open problems.
