Abstract
The chapter deals with the personalities who held the highest position in the ruler chancery in Bohemia under John of Luxembourg and Charles IV. In particular, the author describes the activities of chancellor Charles' IV John of Neumarkt and his credits of the function of the chancery and of the culture of the court Charles''IV.
