Sabaloka Dam Archaeological Salvage Project: Exploration of prehistoric occupation in the Sabaloka Moutnains in Central Sudan

Abstract

The article presents results of the interdisciplinary exploration of the Sabaloka Mountains and the Sixth Nile Cataract in the Sudan carried out by the scientific expedition under the auspices of the Czech Institute of Egyptology (Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague) in the scope of the Sabaloka Dam Archaeological Salvage Project (field campaigns of autumn 2011 and spring 2012).
