Czech modifications, adaptations and plagiarism of Hungarian literature

Abstract

The study deals with the Czech translation modifications, adaptations and plagiarisms Hungarian literature of the 19th century. These are Mór Jókai's novels "Egy játékos, aki nyer", "Gazdag szegények" and "Egy magyar Nabob." In the field of poetry find plagiarism and adaptation in Sándor Petofi's poem "Légy férfi!".

Czech patriotic and anti-German aspect is the typical extension for these modifications.
