Abstract
This publication focuses on structural development of the labor market in the Czech Republic and the EU in 2000-2010, more specifically on the development of factors that affect it. It also includes a projection in the Czech Republic to 2020.
The publication has six main chapters. The first of these is the description of the data sources and classifications used for further analysis.
The second chapter contains a summary of the methods and procedures used for computing synthetic indicator of the qualification requirements of jobs. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of macroeconomic factors affecting the structure and number of jobs in the Czech Republic and the EU in 1995 - 2010.
The fourth chapter analyzes the changes and development of employment structures in the Czech Republic and EU countries in the period 1995-2010, according to the sectoral, occupational and educational structure. The fifth chapter focuses on the results of the forecast of the employed in the Czech Republic to 2020.
The sixth chapter summarizes the main trends in changes in employment in the Czech Republic and EU.
