Bohemians in Prague in the Latter Half of the Nineteenth Century

Abstract

The Bohemian movement in Prague in the 2nd half of the 19th century on the field of visual arts is analysed here, including its relations with official institutions and the late National revival scene. The review discusses main persons and circles of Bohemianism on the art scene and ways to recognition of the Bohemianism in public.
