Abstract
Special professional education and training of military medical specialists, the irreplaceable part of modern army forces, has tradition which is comparable with leading European nations. The role of a training center of military medical professionals in independent Czechoslovakia (1918) was taken over by the Military Medical School in Prague.
Officially, it was opened in Prague in 1927.
