Abstract
The Article is the portrait of the painter Ivan Steiger, whose caricatures became in Year 1968 in Czechoslovakia the symbol of "Prague spring". Steiger emigrated in August 1968 to West Germany, where worked as respected cartoonist and caricaturist.
