Abstract

The paper attempts to broaden our knowledge of the intellectual level of the natural history and natural philosophy studies in Bohemia at the turn of the 17th and 18th century. It uses the form of a probe based on the analysis of a Czech manuscript collection of anonymous alchemical texts from the turn of the 17th and 18th century, which is deposited in the Regional museum in Chrudim (sign. 24.014).

The paper attempts to identify the sources, on which the work of the anonymous author was based, and to investigate the way of the author's use of this sources.
