Abstract

The aging process of involution is accompanied by changes in the entire organism. Current status of the organism can be described using morphological and functional parameters.

One plane are morphological parameters: body composition, height, weight, age. The second level is functional parameters: the performance of the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, control system.

Musculoskeletal system of the old people are affected by changes in their own active components (muscle tissue) as well as changes in the level control centers. One of the ways of these involutional changes in the body to slow down and thus improve the quality of life of seniors in general, the use of specific exercise intervention on the targeted group of seniors.

The filmmakers intervention programs for seniors applying appropriate forms of physical activity during the period when it is possible to record the effect of the selected program. From studies of many authors that the exercise intervention period must be long enough to doom observable changes.
