Abstract

e aim of this contribution is to summarize the stat e of the functional characteris- tics of soccer players. e key points addressed in the study are motion model structures play- er in the game and physiological parameters that can a ect a player's performance in the match. Physiological parameters and model physical structure s in football are addressed in a number of studies and constantly stress the need for sophisticated sc ienti c approach to the player's performance in th e game.

In the survey study, we proceed from the results and co nclusions of studies pub- lished in foreign scienti c journals or presented at important posts of scienti c conferences. Player positions are characterized by distinct physica l demands in the model motion structure and bioen- ergetic expenditure and planning training process s hould respect the following aspects.

Players must matc h within a short period of time to react to changes in direction or manage football in the intensity of locomotion. During the match aerobic and anaerobic overlap meta bolism in terms of intensity loads. e player must repeatedly perform in a match of high intensity activ ity with rapid recovery of energy resources and delay- ing the maximum fatigue emerging. e di erence between elite players and lower level is the amount of physi- cal activities performed at high intensities.

Due to f atigue at the end of the game play- ers appear less smooth coordination and implementati on of technical skills. Based on surveillance studies di erent views and de terminants of the functional readiness of the player were identi ed. e dominant role is played by the follo wing criteria: player s level (professional, amateur, etc.), competition (international, national, etc.), post pla yer, tasks player s stage game and game system.
