Abstract
The introduction of the book supplies an outline of key contextual circumstances of evolution of the architecture decorated by fine arts. Under "representative" buildings are understood decorated architectures are accesible by the broader public here.
The first part of the book presents a series of them, according to ther main functions. The second part concentrates on bulidings of banking institutions, their decoration programmes and elements.
The third part focuses on the key elements of figural decoration in architecture. The fourth part brings up a survey of sculptors and painters involved in architectural decorations of Prague.
