Abstract
Given lecture has been intended for the fourth grade students of the primary school Jih in Mariánské Lázně. Its first part introduced the audience into an archeology as a scientific discipline, what is its purpose and which kind of methods are being used.
A field work has been presented on some examples of archaeological sites. The second part has been focused on the prehistory of our territory.
There has been outlined a development of society in different times of this oldest history including long-distance contacts and influences related to them.
