Stylistics in contemporary study programmes at the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague

Abstract
In connection with the evolution of stylistics and subsequent disciplines which arose from stylistics and gradually emancipated, the position of stylistics is transforming as a university study discipline in the study programmes of the Czech studies and the Czech language teaching. The paper reacts to this situation and follows the present students' approach to the Czech studies discipline, it also registers some study problems with mastering its content.
