Abstract
Engineering geological documentation is a fundamental activity of the engineering geologist. Unfortunately, the importance of engineering geological documentation is sometimes underestimated, making it a source of many errors projected into the global engineering geological evaluation.
In the end, these errors can have fatal consequences for the engineering construction. Some principal and often repeated errors are discussed in the article, using examples noticed in practice.
