Abstract

As for the military health service, the Second World War meant, among others, the beginning of the pronounced acceptance and usage of medical-service experience of the leading armies of the world. Physicians active in the Czechoslovak foreign troops, who were mostly also reserve officers ofthe former Czechoslovak Army, became - to a large extent - supporters of the new trends.
