Major General Professor MUDr. Josef Liškutín : Towards the History of the Branch of Military Hygiene and Epidemiology

Abstract

As for the military health service, the Second World War meant, among others, the beginning of the pronounced acceptance and usage of medical-service experience of the leading armies of the world. Physicians active in the Czechoslovak foreign troops, who were mostly also reserve officers ofthe former Czechoslovak Army, became - to a large extent - supporters of the new trends.
