The aim of the article is to introduce a simple model of positive column of the oxygen glow discharge. Our fluid model is based on continuity equation and electric field is calculated from Gauss's law.
It is tested the ability of the model to cover properties and behaviour of the electronegative oxygen discharge at the pressure several hundreds of pascals. The model qualitatively estimates properties of the discharge as negative ion concentration and in addition to that, radial profiles of charged and metastable particles are determined.
