Abstract
The report about the annual meeting of International Council on Archives / Section on University and Research Institution Archives, which took place in Prague in autumn 2010 and was focused on the differences between the Central European concept of an archivist as at the same time historian and Anglo-Saxon concept of an archivist as an impartial observer during the selection of archival material.
