Abstract
History of origin and evolution of environmental education in CR from beginning of the 20th century till today. The article shows circumstances of environmental activities under different regimes, poses questions on relationship of the environmental education and education for sustainable development, and seeks for implementation of these concepts under Czech circumstances.
Brief analysis of contemporary political documents depicts instotutional environment and shows possibilites of future development.
