Abstract
The co-authored monograph offers a systematic account of experience with the method of community work in socially excluded Romani communities. It is a result of a joint effort of a team of four authoresses, who have been actively involved in community work for many years.
Their experience is supported by their own records, observations, case studies and interviews about the community work practice, gathered and organised with great care. The text largely draws from the practical experience of two non-governmental organizations – Český západ (working with socially excluded communities in Toužim and Teplá regions) and Cheiron T (working in Tábor).
