Abstract
RPG Real Estate is the biggest owner of real estates in the Czech Republic, mainly in Moravian - Silesian region (44 000 flats). More than 6 000 flats are located in socially excluded locations and in cooperation with NGOs operated as social housing (despite the fact that social housing does not exist in the Czech Republic) for people threatened by poverty and homelessness.
The lectures presented to the master students of Urban Planning at Sorbonne University in Paris deal with a private sector investment perspective and why does it matter and make sense to be a socially responsible company which tries to solve practical problems neglected by state, cities and munucupalities.
