Abstract
The book is based on material gathered during the „Czech-Polish translation course“ (Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic). Includes original and translated versions of several artistic texts (short stories, drama, reportage) accompanied by specialized commentary which summarizes often repeated problems related with the translation or frequent mistakes.
This book is inteded especially for polonistic departments, but also for all other persons who are interested in the theory, practice and didactics of translation.
