The article deals with the questions of practice and exercise of phonetic aspect of Russian language at Czech schools. The text is divided into two parts - first part deals with the problems of pronunciation and specifies the definition of phonetic literacy.
Attention is paid to the significance of corresponding implementation of segmental and suprasegmental elements for the communication in Russian language. Various options of practice and exercise of pronunciation in teaching in the form of model assignments and exercises are introduced in the second part of article.
