Abstract
Spasticity is a common problem of patients after brain injury. There are several possibilities how to manage it.
Standards are important for coordination of treatment procedures because management of spasticity is a multidisciplinary problem and the consensus of all specialists is necessary. Standards are also important for the insurance scheme.
The article deals with standards for spasticity management which are accepted by the Czech neurologic society.
