Abstract
Psoriasis in scalp is one of the most affected site. Effectiveness of topical therapy is seldom satisfactory here, mostly due to poor compliance of the patient.
Guidelines published this year in JEADV differentiate the choice of topicals and their vehicals, incl. new short contact therapy forms, according to severity. They propose different algorithm for induction and for maintenance therapy.
Treatment should be individualized to patient´s preferences, possibilities and abilities.
